Rosemary's talk last night

Post by Diane on April 11th 2008, 12:30 am

I went to see Rosemary speak for the herb exchange benefit last night in Santa Rosa. As you can of course imagine, it was so wonderful to be in her *presence.*

But not to worry if you missed out. She told many of the stories she told us when she came to class last year as she gave a history of Sonoma County herbalism from her point of view.

Daniel opened and closed the evening with songs on his guitar, which was nice. Guess what? The bus is officially retired and our class was the last herb school trip that bus will ever see, which makes me sad, but also grateful that we got to experience with that huge, metal, piece of sonoma county herb history.

Glad you enjoyed it. Wish I could have been there but since some of her stories were repeated, I don't feel so bad.

As far as the bus goes...I love the look and the idea of it but 6 hours on a hard bench was too stressful on my back.

I hope there was a good turn out and UPS made some money.

Appreciate you giving us the 411 on the talk.. would have love to have gone too. as for this:

Guess what? The bus is officially retired and our class was the last
herb school trip that bus will ever see, which makes me sad, but also
grateful that we got to experience with that huge, metal, piece of
sonoma county herb history.

I too am grateful to have been a part of Emerald Valley Hippy Bus History. flower They getting a new one, or car pooling it from here on out? Question
