Winter color
Pansies and primroses--such bright happy faces in my otherwise boring patio "garden".

oh how i envy the way you can throw seeds, and expect to be there when, like warriors, they come rising from the earth.... it is a beautiful thing to be able to see the way time plays with land. it'll be a joy when i too, come to that place in my life.
for now, i must see her in her present glory... nothing to wait for, nothing to compare with...
i suppose each set of eyes is a beauty.

Re: Winter color
at times there is great beauty in viewing the world in a transit state, going from place to place season to season, arriving but not saying to see what will happen after we have departed. it is all important, as too is being able to tend to seed and stay with the wheel of the seasons in one time zone. at times, i myself have lived in a perpetual self chosen season of summer. it made me sick. i ended up gagging on the jasmin and sickly smell of confined gardenia. i would follow bachak into the bush they looked like marching butterfly.
