An update from Burch...

Post by Mademoiselle on December 14th 2007, 2:35 am

well, haven't been on in a few weeks and it's sad to see that so few of us are using this beautiful litlle website. pity it is.
I flew back to Philadelphia nearly a week ago now. the dead of winter has fully settled. white fog hangs over black shadows. i'm thankful that it hasn't been cold enough for snow yet, but i'm sure it will. I'm trying to enjoy this place, but it seems to get increasinly difficult each time I leave. I come back more of a stranger, and sometimes I feel like I've left the me I was, but I haven't quite become my new self... the middle of the pond.
as for my plans after the holidays.... i'm not ready to talk about that.
been praying for you all. especially this wednesday at 7. hope you remember.
how's about you people? whata ya'll doin with yourselves?

Good to hear from you Mademoiselle...Nice talking on the phane as well. That feeling of not being vomfortable in the old or the new , I feel, is an ongoing process of life. Although I've been up here a year I'm still not quite sure-footed. But visiting LA recently I definately felt out of my element there. Who am I there? what am I becoming up here. It's a constant metamorphosis.

lIfe's been very low key bordering on lazy except I feel I'm constantly organizing things in my house, my car..whatever. maybe becasue I put that stuff on hold for 8 months.

I will have to say that I love the fact that i automatically reach for my herbal first aid kit when somethings up. It's quite empowering...and realising how much I actually retained. Imagine how much we'll know as it sinks in even more and we really start to work it. Love It! Smile

Have a wonderful Merry Christmas
and all the blessings for the New Year

Keep in touch on your many travels...

There's a chance I'll be in India in May. Let me know if you are in the neighborhood

Looking up gives light, although at first it makes you dizzy.

nice to have you here Mademoiselle. perhaps folks are so busy with the holiday cheer/pressure that they can't be bothered with online stuff..... or.. do you think it might be the color? i thought we all loved the green Laughing

been writing, sorting out my medicine, laughing a lot and
also feeling the blues at the same time. it's an odd time of the year for me. time
passes so quickly-slowly. within certain passages in life, disorientation is
vital. vertigo and commotion are what is needed to navigate in order to be
precise in reaching ground zero.

my current state of emotion.

"Develop interest in life as you see it; in people, things, literature, music - the world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people. Forget yourself."
