eqinox on the air...
i've been invited to an equinox ceremony with a wiccan cirle. i went to the solstice, and i really adore this group of women. so i'm quite excited. and i wanted to come with an offering, perhaps an herbal tradition to mark this time. not sure where to look for that sort of thing.
any ideas??

Re: eqinox on the air...
eggs i believe.. as i pick my brain are primary symbols- fertility, fecundity. rebirth, renewel. persephone returns from the underworld. it's time to celebrate..some of the goddesses for spring from many cultures are: Osun (Africa), Demeter(Greece), Isis (Egypt), Parvati (India), Kwan Yin (China), Lilith (Greece) and of course Eostre (Saxton) or Astarte/Istar/Esther (Semitic)- from which the Sabbathgets it's name of Oestre.

spring is sexy...
thankyou.
i'm sure the witches will be quite interested in this.
we are using eggs in the ceremony, though i hadnt made the connection in my mind with the fertile nature of the season.
thanks again.
