hey ya'll

i just watched an amazing documentary about birthing. it's beautifully done - enthralling and informative. it makes one outraged about the crisis that is the birthing system here in the us. it seems to mirror the mindset's regarding so many facets of life here in these great states... from the greed for power that makes time something we refer to words like 'restrictions' and 'killing', to the ever-increasing lack of trust in our bodies.

I've gotten hooked on a British TV series, "Rosemary & Thyme". Starring are 2 middle-aged ladies who have a gardening business and always get involved in a murder mystery wherever they're working. Interspersed are little tidbits of plant info. Ornamental, not herbal, though. Probably would give you gals the yawns, but hey, yer mums might enjoy it!

Off the air now, but DVD's are available. Website: www.rosemaryandthyme.tv

Really good. Their chemistry is amazing. Great love story. Really makes you think about what you see and perceive from your point of view and what actually occures.

From IMDB

"Fledgling writer Briony Tallis, as a 13-year-old, irrevocably changes

the course of several lives when she accuses her older sister's (Keira

Knightley) lover (James McAvoy) of a crime he did not commit. Based on

the British romance novel by Ian McEwan."

Can't say I loved it as I'm getting more sensitive to watching violent movies as I get older. It's not as bloody as I thought but very sudden violent spurts that you aren't prepared for. but it was a good movie, intrigueing plot and kept you guessing where it was going to the end. Yes, the last 2 minutes may appear to be dissapointing to the average viewing who is used to an ending that has crossed the t's and dotted the i's. But when you think about what Tommy Lee's struggle was throughout ...

ally told me about this movie and i went last week to the rialto in santa rosa to see it... it had me stuck for days, pieces of it constantly coming to mind... the way that all truly good movies do. i thought it was beautifully done, but more importantly i found this boy's story very intriging. i'm sure all of us can relate to the passion inside him for freedom, for truth, for the bare, raw, naked reality of life. we die often in pursuit of truth, en route to beauty, but that's the chance ...
