autumn in 5-element theory

AUTUMN
element- metal
color - white
quality - harvest
sense/organ - nose/smell
fluid - mucous
tissue - skin/hair
yin organ - lungs
yang organ- large intestine
smell - rotten
taste - pungent
sound - weeping
emotion - worry/ grief
climate - dry
direction - west
in-balance - consolidation, communication, new disciplines, productive work, study, clarity, care, quiet walks, more rest
imbalance - indecision, confusion, overindulgence, obscurity, fatigue
funny, autumn is my favorite season, and these correlations mean less to me than many of the others have.
for me all the running around and poking about and 'gathering' of spring and summer starts to take form with the coming of autumn. fruition, i keep thinking fruition - apples. the beauty of blossoms turns to something sustaining.

i like fall too but for some reason I feel it's come too fast. alreday getting chilly here and I didn't feel like I had a real summer.
